List of UK scam text phone numbers

Since the pandemic, there has been a rise in the number of scammers who now employ text messaging to scam unsuspecting victims. They lure them with carefully crafted text messages that is so easy to fall for. I get a lot of these messages. Sadly one of my family members has also been scammed.

Being a MSc degree holder in Cyber Security, it is only right to do something useful with my degree and I thought the easiest way is to list a few of the numbers I have encountered.

I decided to compile a list of common UK numbers that do these text scaming. In as much as there are several guidelines on how not to fall into these text scams that mentions things related to COVID-19, DPD packaging and etc., unsuspecting victims still fall for it.

So here are a list of scam phone numbers I’ve come across.
